Papa Craig's visit

Kate wearing both of her new dresses from Nana (Debbie).

My Dad was in town for my almost graduation banquet a few weeks ago. I won't actually be done until December because I did an extra clinical reseach program on top of the periodontology program, but they were nice enough to include me with the rest of my class at graduation.

I don't think I've ever posted any pics from school before, but here is our group of residents. Yes, I only own one cocktail dress and yes, it is in all the facebook photos...

I heart Ty

Remember this baby gift I made from a t-shirt?

So the t-shirt was actually the shirt we all wore for Lindsay Stortz's bachelorette party in 2005

Here it is on the happy couple: Lindsay and Ty
...and now here it is in on sweet baby Ellie Cashen, with her daddy :)

Garden update

Currently harvesting:
snow peas
lettuce (almost finished- starting to bolt)
spinach (almost finished- starting to bolt)
parsley
basil
chives
oregano
yo choi
bok choi

We have tomatoes, brussels sprouts and peas that should be ready in the next few weeks and I'm trying some "summer glory" lettuce to see if it won't bolt...

Mothers Day Apron

Here is the apron I made for my mom for Mother's day--one side is Hungry Caterpillar which was Alex's favorite when he was little, and the other side is Beatrix Potter, which was a favorite of Beedoh's and mine. It was tough to find a coordinating fabric that matched both of these two!

Those who knew me in college and high school will appreciate this one...

Like mother, like daughter...the huge backpack is genetic.

Weekend in Charlotte

Two weekends ago we headed down to Charlotte to visit some good friends and to spend a night at Great Wolf indoor water park. It was so much fun! Thanks Hermansens!

Kate did this huge waterslide all by herself! She was so brave. And she loved it!

These are the pettiskirts I made for the 3 girls. Whew! These took FOREVER. More than 170 yards of pink chiffon...that is almost 2 football fields! Kate loves hanging out with the big girls and they are so good with her!
Check out this cool backyard!

Haydn enjoying some s'mores. Haydn is about 3 months younger than Kate.

This is one sleepy little girl! Kate was totally exhausted at the end of the weekend.

Maybe my favorite outfit ever...

Some of you have heard me talk about my favorite outfit ever...the black and white flower top with zebra pants. Yes, here it is:

Note the red toenails. Kate insists that this outfit matches because both pieces are black and white.

And here are some Easter photos. Sorry for being so late!! We went to a friends' home from church.
