Loose Teeth Vintage Inspired Sundress with Petticoat GUEST GIVEAWAY!!!!

I found this adorable dress while searching for a sundress pattern: Loose Teeth Vintage Inspired Sundress with Petticoat So cute! Maybe Kate and I need some matching clothes....;) don't think I'm kidding....

Catching up

We had such a fantastic visit with all of the cousins-it was quite busy with us all staying in 1 house! But it was wonderful. I've finally stolen a moment to post a bunch of the photos from the past 3 weeks...hope you enjoy them!!

The cousins all piled into one chair

Ryder what are you teaching Kate?!?! Guitar Hero.

Put those kids to work!!
Nana reading to the gang
Colby's main activity
Pigtails!!
Ready for action

Popsicles:) Look at these skinny little ones...think they are related?
An indoor picnic
Kate on the slide, but what she really loves is the swing!

Pretty hair!
New crayons introduced to us by Lisa- thanks for the tip! These twistable crayons don't break into millions of pieces and they don't lose their wrappers. Kate is really into coloring right now, so this was a great find.
My project! Lisa taught me how to knit:) I've been wanting to make this re-usable cover for my swiffer for a while. I had planned to teach myself how to knit, but I had to keep pulling it all out, so all I ended up with was a ball of unwound yarn. Lisa finally helped me get the hang of it and I finished my project! It only took me a month (yikes!)...
Here is Kate's new tower. Now she can stand at the sink and play and not fall off the chair!
Phew! What a busy month! Our house is so quiet now...I'm a little lonely. Anyone want to come visit???

Visitors!

We've been super busy the past few weeks with our visitors! Grand Nana was here last week and Aunt Lisa, Braden, Ryder, Colby and Nana are here for another week. This picture was taken last weekend while we were on a picnic at Duke Gardens.

We've had a blast just watching the cousins hang out together. They all love to play outside, but it has been SO hot. We set up the sprinkler for them to cool off a bit.

Hi Kate!

Say CHEEEEEEEEEEEEESE!
Either catchin' some rays or protesting bedtime by lying behind the car...

Happy Easter!

We had a nice Easter weekend. We worked in the church nursery with 17 one year olds! And the big news: Kate let me do her hair!! and it lasted all day long! I am thrilled:)

Kate is talking using "I" now- "I running!" "I swimming!" "I get it!" "I do it" They are the sweetest little phrases I've ever heard. The phrase she uses most is "shoe back on"

Mexico!!

We had a wonderful trip to Mexico last week. It was so good to spend some time with my mom and Aunt Kris did a fantastic job taking care of Kate so mom and I could have a bit of time together.

We stayed at the Riu Playacar near Playa del Carmen. It was beautiful! The big decision of the day was: beach or pool?? Kate loved playing in the sand, swinging at the playground, swimming in the pool and jumping in the waves. She was also a huge fan of popcorn!

Kate calls my mom "Annie" and really got along well with Aunt Kris.

Fun in the ocean!
Sand!

I hardly got any tan because I was so worried about getting burned!

Sleepy baby! We were all ready to go swimming in the pool, but by the time we got there, Kate was asleep wearing her life jacket and her floaty!

And we're off! (and 18 mo pic)

Yippee! To Mexico in the morning! It has been pretty much a nightmare getting ready for an international trip with Loren out of town. Not to mention I'm dealing with round 2 of mastitis. Ugh. But tomorrow at this time I'll be on the beach with my mom and Kate. Phew. I've really been looking forward to this!
Here is Kate's 18 month old picture. I didn't really think she looks like either Loren or me, but after looking at this pic and mine around the same age, she look more like me than I thought. I'll try to scan it in when I get back.
Wish us luck on the airplane!! Adios!
